Hello,
I have bought a stolen and recovered Gilerra Runner bike. The person who stole it removed the ignition barrel so they could start it with a screw driver. When trying to kick start the bike I get no spark , Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance.

yeh sorry, you will need the proper ignition barrel to make a spark, you could try and bodge it with a pice of wire going across the plug, but i wouldnt know much about that.

well i cant be 100% sure, if you had the lock set i would ask you to....

check all the other wires, check the cdi etc is still on, might have been nicked, they sell for abit.

change the plug
change the coil

but befor you start buying anything, get an ignition barrel, there only about £25 for a second hand lock set.

Well Under the little bonnet I can see there is a small silver box I am guessing that's the CDI etc. All the wiring seems to be good Where can I purchase an ignition barrel from?

Thanks
