Just realised what the last part meant as well Shocked They wont return your bike if you don't return your receipt - Idiots!

cant see how they can legally keep your bike, you could just as easily phone the police and say its been stoeln Confused

i guess if people didnt fall for it they wouldnt bother making that ad

Erm, I presume the intention of their words are to mean that when you pay your second £25, you get your bike back, all striped up, along with a receipt (thus you can tell they're professionals, presumably!)

Yeah, that's how I read it too.

"On return we will give you a receipt and you will not get your bike back without getting one".

Regardless though, I wouldn't give my bike to anyone who made an ad asking for it unless they were a legit garage or something.

yeah, or they said it to give the impression your bike was perfectly safe in their hands. I.e "no-one will be able to steal your bike because YOU need your receipt to get it back" Laughing Laughing

The thing that's making me unsure about the ad being made by a bike thief is the price.

If I was a bike thief then I'd be advertising for around £20 to fit wheel stripes.

They're not going to get any bikes at that price.
