The bike is now over geared and doesn't have the power to pull the gearing so has become slower...

...gear up kits are designed to be fitted when the engine has been highly tuned and is making a lot more power than it used too.

Remove the gear up kit or fit a bigger bore kit kit and it will be fine...

I think the main problem with having Piaggio X9 125, is that it's freakishly large and if you insist on showing people pictures of it and yourself, then people are going to think you're a midget.

I think i have Benfitted from having a large bike 125, i now know how to handle a large heavy bike, so when i go on to a large heavy 500 i would be already used to it..Talking about summit like the Bugman 650 ....i will already be ok with the waight, as you get used to it been on the X9 ......

Good thing i think

Why don't you think about getting a REAL bike and doing your test?

Seeing as you're only on a CBT shoudln't you get some L plates on that armchair of yours?

You have a point there.

I was given a X9 250 for 2 weeks after I was involved in an accident. At the time it was painful to walk, as you can imagine, it was rather difficult to push the X9.

I'm now confident in my ability to handle a tank and have been checking ebay regularly.
