He was getting the peg down at points on the rs... and there should still be room to lean more with those tyres, so probably possible.
Always liked the idea of trying... though don't know if I'd trust everything to stay stuck to the road .... probably help being tall and lanky though. |

ah, well thats been done by getting right off the bike as opposed to the extreme bike lean angle i was thinking of
and yes i think that pic i posted was taken a second before the bike was in the gravel
I think the trick would be to do it on a left hander, and hold your bars as far to the left as you can, giving you that extra inch or two |

I nearly done it last week. Didn't fancy ruining my leathers though so I held off... Well to tell the truth I sh*t myself when I done it as I wasn't expecting it to happen. Would have easily went down though if I stuck my arm out. ____________________ Honda NSR125R -> Suzuki GSXR400R GK76a -> Kawasaki ZX636 B1H -> Honda CBR400RR NC29 -> Nothing |

Note the person in the r6 pic... he /is/ pretty leant over compared to average knee down riding and he also seems to have /very/ long arms.... which I suspect quite helps . |

Zak, you'd be nowhere near. You're miles from the deck as you're practically upright! ____________________ Back on a Blade. Just feels so right. |

Ok then, if I changed the pegs it would probably be achievable.
Cant believe my tyre had 9psi in it when I checked it after ____________________ 02 Firestorm. |

I think my bike would fall over before the pegs went down. Pegs are really high up and are pretty small anyway. Good thing really as I'd be worried they'd throw me off if they caught something. ____________________ Honda NSR125R -> Suzuki GSXR400R GK76a -> Kawasaki ZX636 B1H -> Honda CBR400RR NC29 -> Nothing |

I'd be much more worried about your foot catching something (though I have come off while peg down... but that was on a slightly dodgy bit of road... my stupid.)
With stickyenough tyres you should be able to get your pegs down on pretty much any bike (providing you don't have anything else that goes down first)... Look at some supermoto riders that can get their pegs down while sliding the rear wheel... and they do have high pegs . |
