this was in the google links so i thought i'd check out the video. it's of nick griffin getting pelted with eggs at a protest to his party gaining a seat.
HOWEVER the real roflol is at 31 seconds in to the video. wasn't sure i'd seen it properly so watched it again.
i damn near shit myself laughing.

Thats not the only one. If you go on yahoo.com and watch the video on there you can see when there putting him in the car that one of his security behind him punchs a protester right infront of the camera. There idiots this BNP lot.

Not convinced that woman was just walking along, they often try and get right up into someones face before throwing something point blank, she hesitated and saw the pavement was full of them coming along it so why walk straight for him.

Still think it's amusing that the protestors are calling them Nazis and fascists yet they themelves are preventing a press conference from happening because THEY don't like it, trying to interfere with the fact that they gained their position via the democratic system, hypocritical waste of space is what they are.

SoND, I apologise if I took what you said wrong. However, if you take a quick read about Nick Griffin (fat man in a suit, correct?), you'll see he was convicted of inciting racial hatred back in 1998. Along with other, more recent events along the same line.

Some woman gave the same appalling argument on the radio the other night, and it's doesn't really deserve to be called an argument, that you just tried Luke. The BNP are not the Nazis, they never will be.

The reason most people hate the BNP is because it's what they're told to do by the media and current government, and if you support them your dragged out into the street figuratively speaking and whipped (think of the supporters list). Problem is most of the people who believe that they are thinking for themselves when declaring the BNP Nazi scum who should be shot, when questioned really can't put forward any justification for their reasoning, because they're just doing what they're told.

While I don't support the BNP I don't think all their ideas are bad and I certainly don't think that the whole current tactic of effictively shouting "blah blah blah, shut up Nazis" while they're talking and trying to get them locked up, banned and so on is the way for any person with half a brain to behave.

its not exactly a hate thing for me, i personally wouldnt bother protesting let alone throwing eggs at any one of em.. at the end of the day every country will have an extreme nationalist party with the same politic views... its a personal choice who you vote for, no one can question you for it, but i wouldnt vote for BNP coz i just dont agree with some of their policies

my dilemma is those biased, uneducated, hate filled individuals who can simply judge people from their background.. those who believes everything they see on tv and read on tabloids.. and im not talking about anyone on this forum so dont get the wrong idea

When I first watched that video the other day I thought the lack of high vis jackets was a bit odd. With a crowd like that I would have thought there would be a few policemen there. I don't think any of it looked over aggressive considering the guards stuck so close to the guy they were looking after. The way the woman casually walked up to them was unbelievable.

My only say on the political side is that we need an option for "none of the above" on the voting slips. I'd like to register that I don't think any of the people running are suitable without having to make a 'protest vote' for a party like the BNP. As it stands at the moment I don't see much point in voting.

Anyone prepared to address immigration issues is automatically branded a racist nazi. The BNP and their ideas are very OTT, but them winning seats shows the major parties that the electorate is bothered by immigration issues.

The BNP won seats in the European parliament... they don't like the number of foreigners here, fuck knows how they'll cope in Brussels.
