Hi all - I searched around for a bit, but I couldn't find anything that answered my question here:
I'm considering putting a 200 lump in my 125 bike.
1) does registering the difference with VOSA mean that it'll automatically be picked up by insurers, or do I have to list it as a modification?
2) if I have to list it as a modification, is it likely to be cripplingly expensive?
3) are there any knock-on effects that I have to consider? ____________________ '10 SV650SF, '83 GS650GT (it lives!), Questionable DIY dash project, 3D Printer project, Lasercutter project |

1) Doubt it
2)I'd say it should be listed as a mod, don't know on expense
3) Might be in different tax band?? (If not now then the next time the change the categories.)
Personally, I'd just file the engine number number off and no-one is any the wiser. ____________________ Current: ZZR1400
