I cut my eyelid.

I don't know how, but it is bleeding. Lots. How do I stop this.

As to the eye, im guessing it hasnt gone all the way through? (if so go to the fucking hospital!) As long as the cut isnt stitch worthy i would suggest just keeping the eyelid closed, move it as little as possible and let the blood clot up and do its job, then just clear the excess when it stops flowing.

This is what i would do but im not a doctor.

I would but it's not stopping. Even if I don't touch it for ages. I try to keep it shut but its hardwork.

maybe a bit of wet cotton wool or something, that would be my next attempt, would say a plaster, but i cant imagine sticking one on your eye would be too easy

Tie a tourniquet around your neck tightly, this'll stop the blood flow to your head and therefore prevent your eyelid from bleeding any further.

right. My mum went to hospital last night at about 2:30am so I was still bleeding for a while.

Went to bed and its healed slightly. Red lump right by my eyelashes. Not bleeding anymore though.

Last night, my eye was bleeding so I though I would go to bed and let it heal. At 2:30am I had to get up and wait for an amblance outside for my mum who had to go to hospital. Meaning I had woken up and couldn't let my eye heal = more blood.

I suggest cutting it off. You have another one. It would be possible to manufacture another eye lid, just pop to the hospital and check for recent circumcisions.
