Seeing as ' Biker ' comes from Motorbike, as in ' To ride said machine ', I am as such, as I ride one...Motorcyclist is the more official term used on paperwork but equates to the same thing...

Ped Boi is someone that rides a Mo-' Ped ', Boi is slang for Boy, hence Ped Boi, which in itself is another term for Scooterist, I neither ride, own or want to ride a Moped/Scooter...

I hope the above information is usefull to you and to whom ever makes another thread next week asking the same question...

Ithankyow...

I personaly wouldn't be seen dead on a ped,
and personally think a large majority of the Ped boi's as they seem to be called should be given a nudge to remind them that it's not clever to cut everything on the road up as often as possible and be generally f**king annoying...

You want to try living here, I'm near a school so it's deemed fit to turn the whole area into a 20 zone and bang a speed bump every two hundred yards, the local wankers as I like to call them, like to try and see how fast they can get out of their ' fiddies ' whilst going over them, the last time one came off I opened the door and applauded as the silly little boy had been doing it for weeks, doing my nut in in the process...

But said Ped Bois have now graduated onto scramblers, and try to do the same, without may I add any helmets or protective gear whatsoever, I started a thread a while back about two clowns, a Rude Boi and his Bitch that did it and came off after trying it on the icey road, I stood there and watched them slid on their arses and proceed to fuck the bike right up, I then watched her beat the shit out of him for going to fast !! while he hobbled up the road pushed the remainders of his mates bike back up the road, all the while I stood there on my drive drinking tea...

Anyway...Ahem...Back to the question at hand...

I drive cars as well, so I suppose I am just an automotive obsessionist, not really falling into biker, or driver, just all round jizm over engines and wheels.

Born again biker some have called me..Tosspots..i rode a friends FS1E when i was 17 then nothing until aged 37. I class myself as learning and will continue to be a learner until i die. Well you get my gist. If i had to label myself i'd say i'm a biker, as their is still a kind of camaraderie to be found on 2 wheels. Its a 'club' thing i suppose.

I consider myself a biker and certainly not in the tassel's and chaps kind of way. I think being a biker is a state of mind not an image.

I never take the direct route anywhere always plumping for the more scenic and twisty route. A 15 min ride home can and does frequently turn into an hour and a half the long way round.
I have never passed a stricken biker by without at least stopping and offering moral support if nothing else. The camaraderie is a big part of it for me.
I always opt for the bike unless work demands using the van ( I havent yet found a way of strapping divan beds to the bike but im working on it)
I enjoy riding any bike whether its a little 2 stroke 100cc or 1000cc of snarling sportsbike. As long as its got two wheels and an engine slung between them im happy.

Those are a few of the reasons that i believe make me a biker as opposed to a motorcyclist i value my bike second only to my family. And since the only time iv ever ridden a scooter i was terrified beyond belief by the seating position i wont be repeating that one in a hurry.

But you wouldn't ride with that attitude say, if the vehicle at the front of the queue was a Bike or group of bikes?
It seems Most Ped Boi's (how annoying "Boi") seem to get great pleasure from cutting up cars and bikes regardless..
