Yesterday i noticed a wasp nest in the corner of my garage. They are flying in and out of it every few seconds.

https://img193.imageshack.us/img193/3874/nestv.jpg

What's the best and easiest way to get rid of it?

I want to keep as far away as possible from it as it's a nasty and scary looking thing.

Only a diddy one so blitz it with the hose pipe from a distance, they will be pi$$ed though so have somewhere safe to run. Its only made from paper so will fall apart.

Or get some wasp nest killer from B&Q. I wouldn't to the WD40 flame thrower trick as the joists are wooden and you will burn the garage down.

Hit it with a big stick and when the wasps come out, don't move. Stand up to them, they'll soon get the message.

I promise.

Get some wasp nest spray and take it out that way. Alternatively, call the council and they'll send someone out for about £40-£80. You'll feel a bit gutted after they charge you for what is essentially a 10 second job, though.

My girlfriend's brother used to take the nests out with fire. Apparently, the wasps used to try and attack the fire!

£10 Bug Bomb: https://www.diypcs.co.uk/acatalog/fortefog-p-smoke-generator-wasps.html

Take off and deliver from high orbit. It's the only way to be sure.
Thumbs Up

That bug bomb sounds pretty cool.

Some other good ideas here too. The dropping it into a bin liner sounds like the best bet, but it'd mean going near the fucker.

I'm thinking of buying some wasp nest killer from b&q, putting my full gear on (jacket, gloves, helmet) and get as close to it as my balls dare to, then SPRAY SPRAY SPRAY (then run)

Providing your not allergic to their stings just cut it off and put it in a bag, you wont get stung if you do it quick and carefully and even if you do it's just a little pin prick, you bunch o pussies.
