Just interested to know what people on here smoke

As in baccy like amber leaf, golden v.
packs like b&h and L&B

Post your age as well unless you are worried about identity theft in which case get off the internet .

I prefer amber leaf to anything with orange rizzlas
or b&h silver if im feeling flush

33 and smoke G.V. Probably about 20 a day although i rarely have more than a few drags of any of them ( my small effort at cutting down ).

I have noticed that i cant seem to be able to smoke packets of cig's anymore, after 15 years of roll ups normal cig's just don't hit the spot.

*Wonder's how long it will take for this thread to turn into a smoking / anti-smoking debate*

Quit smoking 2 year ago, only ever done it when drunk but I started feeling sick after one cigareet, so just gave up. Marlboro lights usually it was. Golden vagina when smoking the silly cigs.
Can't understand why after smoking joints for years and cigs for about a year I suddenly started feeling sick.

Regal King size, 38 now started smokin when I was bout 17, I whent through a Marlboro stage for around a year, then quit smokin, was off them for two and a half years. Then one night while I was helpin a mate get his RD up and my mate pulled his smokes out and offered me one and I took it (that was me started again). I now smoke around 13-15 a day, unless I have a lot of work on to keep me busy, then I might only have 8-9 that day.

Stopped smoking about a month ago. If i was on the baccy i smoked Turner because i got it cheap. When i smoked cigs i bought L&B superkings or JP specials. I was skint and my mate had some malboro lights for sale i bought a few packets and started to realise i was smoking less. Got to the point where i didn't want a tab anymore and i packed in. About two weeks after that bought a pack of ten LnB because i was at a BBQ and just didn't enjoy it anymore. I'm 20 btw.

When I smoked, I used to love Cutters Choice, but I didn't like paying British prices so usually had to settle at 50g G.Vagina at £5 a pop.

Green Rizla and it was all about the extra slim filters. Cool

Cutters choice was really nice in rollies.

Was that the one where you got rizla included? Or maby that was amber leaf?

Marly lights for fags. I really need to quit, but have to wait for the inspiration to find me again. It's annoying because I need to quit drink and fags for a couple of weeks in order to be sure of kicking the snouts. This is especially not easy when beer gardens are particularly welcoming at this time of year.

Amber leaf gave you free Rizla.

I must add that the actual brand of "Rizla" were rubbish in my own experience, I used to go to the local pound shop and get ten packs of "Zig Zag" Green, just because the adhesive material actually stuck better, I found proper Rizla fell apart.

32 years of age, smoked since i was about 15/16, back then used to smoke whatever you could buy in singles from mingy mays shop near my high school (usually park drive). Moved onto royals (24 smokes in a pack ftw), then sovereign, now its windsor blue kingsize, smoke about 25/30 a day, more if on the lash.

I went through about 3 years of smoking rollies, usually g.v or drum as it was much cheapness, generally with green zig-zag papers as i found that rizlas didn't stick to well, (must have a diffferent type of spit???). Any how, went back to shop bought chuffs for convenience really.

I gave up just over 7 months ago.

I used to smoke close on 40 a day, mostly Richmond Superkings or those gold and black Superkings.

wow, some heavy smokers on here.

I recently switched brands as Marlboro lights are getting way too expensive, so switched to Mayfair smooth, they are OK.

Smoke about 8 - 10 a day on average.

Smoking for 33 years now, and still no desire to quit. I will only smoke Marlboro, but as there's no way I could afford tailor-mades, I get my Marlboro tobacco imported* in 175g tubs (about 18 Euros a tub now) and filtered tubes from a local tobacconist (£1.90 for 200).

It all works out about 1.75 for 20, which is nice.

I think we're more likely to die of boredom from reading sanctimonious comments like yours. Still, at least that way your 'taxes' wouldn't go up.

Thanks. Thumbs Up

So long as we can have the billions back that we've already paid in tax, and the money we've saved the government in pension payouts....then, yes, yes we will. Thumbs Up

What do you expect in a thread like this.

You could always start smoking and if you need treatment because of it, think of it as a rebate. Wink

As soon as you pay as much in taxes as I do then I may be interested in your thoughts.

Until then I will continue to support your underpayments through my income tax, VAT, Fuel Duties, Stamp duty I am about to pay, tax on fags & drink, Road fund tax (x3), insurance premium taxes etc etc.

Do you non smokers not realise yet what even our successive governments have worked out (and they ain't exactly the brightest)? You need the income from smokers to prop the system up, last figures I saw was revenue from smokers = 12billion, spend on NHS about 100 billion.

So smokers fund approx 10% (being generous) of the Health Service with only 1.7billion actually being spent on smoking related diseases.

So the next time YOU visit a doctor/hospital I suggest that you spend the next few days thanking every smoker you see for paying for it for YOU

Damn google

Cost to NHS due to smoking = £5.5 billion
Tax from smoking = £10 billion

I retract my statement, but add a new one:

"you better keep smoking cause your paying my taxes" /*shakes fist*/
