Sooo....

iv got a 2008 gilera SC 125, Same as the derbi gpr 125.

i was looking at getting a new exhaust for it, but cant seem to find any, and the ones i can find are "side sweep" or look the same as the 50cc exhausts.

from what i can make out, the underseat exhausts on the 50cc are the same as the 125cc

i thought they would be abit bigger, is this always the case?

the 125 is pretty much exactly the same bike as the 50 but with a 125 engine.

any information will be great, Thanks. Thumbs Up

I would be extraordinarily surprised if an exhaust from a 50cc bike worked on a 125. Exhaust design is critical on two strokes, and you'll ruin the performance if you put the wrong one on there.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

Ok, Thanks for your help, i might end up keeping the standard one and just de-restricting it. Karma

I thought it was quite obvious from a tuning genious as yourself, that youve got a bigger bore size, and bigger carb size, so youve got more air/fuel mix to blow up, which will intern need a bigger exhaust pipe as its producing more exhaust gas, which is vital on a 2smoke as running without pressure makes em feel gutless, probably dosnt help the engine much either.

well if im not 100% sure about somthings, might aswell ask some1 who does.

iv seen the rs 50 and rs 125 exhauts are differnt, but the underseat ones look the same, so i wanted to comfirm it.
Thanks.
