I recently replaced my tail light and headlights on my derbi senda Sm Extreme 06 after the main fuse had blown, as i thought i might as well.

But the indicators do not work at all. Could this be the reason why the fuse had blown? How do i fix this problem?

Also for the headlights there are the following coloured wires; yellow&white, blue, and yellow&green. These wires come from the bike but on my new headlight the wires colours are ;brown, white and blue. Does anyone know which connects to which as i have the tools to do it?

Any help much appreciated
many Thanks

If your main fuse has blown, its usually an indication that a live (+) wire has come into direct contact with the frame, or something connected to the frame.

If your indicators dont work, its possibly your relay, usually located under the seat.

As for wiring the headlights, you have only 2 wires. If you mix them up, it wont matter, as standard bulbs are bi-directional on current (it doesnt matter where the + or - connects to, it still works)

If you have LED bulbs, the wires only work one way, but it wont cause any damage if you wire them wrong. they just wont work! Easy!
