cagiva prima no spark help help help!!!

hi 1995 cagiva prima 50 cc it has had a new stator fitted as old one was destroyed by loose screws.

just forked out £120 for it that tests ok but still not getting a spark
does anyone know if theres a cdi unit anywhere on the bike could the damaged statror knackered that or the coil is there a stupid sensor somewhere that knocks out spark any help would be very greatfully recieved i dont want to start replacing bits i dont need to

Is the HT lead okay? No splits or eroded . . .
Sometimes bikes have like safe switches. Like you can only start the bike when the stand is down.
Have a look. See if the stand rests on anything when down etc . .
Plug cap all in good order ?

hi dan ill check stand switch plug cap and ht lead good have tried these on another bike and work ok.
i think it might be something in coil but im not 100% sure. i tried putting volt meter to wire that feeds coil but i cant seem to get a reading
im a complete novice when it comes to bike electrics.

i managed to get a coil from a kids yamaha quad fitted this and the bike started first time runs great and is now charging apparently coil has a cdi inbuilt in to it. also mito 125 coil will not work as this has a seperated cdi untit.. you live u learn
