I've always been fortunate and considered to be in a fairly stable occupation. After all, you'll always need nurses. Now it looks like things are about to change.

Thankfully, they're be more depressed unempoloyed people for me to treat. I wonder if it'll last for the next 20 years until I can retire

I was working for the tax credit office and they let us go due to the recent economical climate. I thought i had a sound job i mean everyones got to pay taxes. I worked in the sector that gave people money and theres always people claiming even more now that they haven't got a job. Narrrrr still got told to fuck off.

Meh.

I'll believe it when I see it. Sounds like scaremongering to me, The CIPD who did this report looks like a bit of a quango anyway, wouldn't surprise me if it was aligned with the unions who are currently not keen on labour and polling members furiously finding out which way they'd vote so they can do some labour bashing (which they warmly deserve.)

Even if 350k did go, it s tiny proportion of the public sector work force.
