Hi all: I'm toying with the idea of putting a kick starter on my 125. It's a GY clone engine, which does also come in a kick start-able version. Would it simply be a matter of fitting one of these and any appropriate covers, or am I missing something?

hi,
what engine type is it?
156FMI OR 157.
pretty sure the 156 can be retro fitted with the kickstarter, with a change of cover & a kick-starter, obviously.

What you have to fit would depend on waht you find when you open it up.... If they have not altered the internals and there is still a hole for the starter it should be fine. If not then its not as simple job.

TBH why bother. Should bump start very easy.
