It is possible to change a clutch without changing the oil, put some blocks under the wheels then lean it over onto the sidestand, then take clutch cover off. Nothing 'wrong' with doing it that way, but will be frowned upon by mechanics and people like that.
You probably don't need to change the springs, but I'd say wait for someone more 'expert' than me to give an opinion on that one.
Should be less than £90, I'd go for a basic 'EBC Clutch Friction Plate set' & do an oil and filter change at the same time. |

Im getting it serviced early next month and their doing all air oil fliters new oil and what not.
not sure if it is the clutch or just need sew oil. its done nearly 4k since its last oil change. not sure only had it 4 months. 1st proper bike and all.
Something is always playing on my mind, thats not quite right, im probally just jumping to the worst case. i was going to do a few mils on the new oil 1st and then see. its olny going to be a few £ for the oil anyways. |
