 |
|
having a go at fitting my own tyre's this weekend, was just wondering, what would be a good lubricant to get the tyre's on/off the rims. I was going to use fairy but read somewhere that it can corrode the inside of the rim which ultimately leads to leaks... which are bad. ____________________ 04 NSR 125(sold) ---- 03 CBR 600rr(sold) ----90 pan euro ST1100 ' ' ----02 CG 125

Just slap the bubble bath on, no diluting it.
Smells nice too.
When you pump the tyre up, most of it is forced out of the bead so you can just wipe it away. |

I've just used slightly diluted washing up liquid for years and never had a problem
I think you can buy proper tubs of tyre soap for not much money ... but personally I can't even justify that when washing up liquid works so well ____________________ The purpose of life is to fight maturity. |
