Basicaly my right indicator bulb is gone. But one of the screw's to get the casing off is rounded. Will I fail my MOT if the indicator casing is selotaped on. The orange casing at the front won't be impared in the slightest. Just the black casing at the back will be kept on by some waterproof selotape?

So long as the lens is secure and it shows no white light it should pass. If it shows any white light then put black tape over it.

my plate failed and that was only 1 inch smaller than 'normal'. apparently they have tightened the belt on licence plate size, but you should be able to pick one up for a tenner then just swap back after the mot if you like.

i left the dinner tray on though as the mot tester told me the local police were having a crack down on it and i could do without the extra point's, especially for something as petty as a slightly small plate Rolling Eyes

No points for a numberplate - but they can for an illegal or missing L-plate!
