Cool Cool

I take it it's fun to ride then? I'm vaguely entertaining the idea of getting a supermoto but don't know how I'll get on with it, being used to sportsbikes mainly Thinking

How much was is it if you don't mind me asking?

Well after a week of (ab)use I decided I needed to spend a bit of money to get it all up together. I ordered caliper+master cylinder rebuild kits, lots of bearings, spark plug, oil, a new coil and a few other random bits.

Finally managed to crack on with the head bearings today and they feel so much better is amazing, the old ones must of been original from 1985 I think! Laughing ) Also painted the frame properly as it had a very poor job done to it.

So as I start...

Very shagged bottom bearing (top cut up to use fitting the new bearing)

Thats step one done!

Well I slowly got this done and it now looks a bit like this:
https://img269.imageshack.us/img269/6540/ebay009e.jpg
Still needs a good wash etc but new plastics make it look alot better, planning on a black seat and new tank cover sometime aswell.

It had a few issues when I got it, would cut out when you stopped moving (i.e junctions etc) and would have an intermitant misfire.

I put it down to the carbs as they have been upjetted but also heard alot about dodgy coils so thought it wise to replace both. So here is where we stand as of now, Coil and carbs sat on my desk ready to be fitted. Only problem is I've just bought another 205 so might be distracted for a while! Laughing

Misfire is all soted, turned out it was the diaphragm for the air cut off valve that had gone very hard. New one in and it runs sweet. Cool

Well it passed its MOT today with only a few advisories. (numberplate basically horizontal, headlight aim a bit low and slight play in the rear shock bush.) Smile
