The company I work for at the moment are looking to move me to another store, we are opening 2 new branches at the above locations so it is likely to be one of those, i've got nothing better going so I don't mind moving
If I want to have a say in which one I go to I will need to give some sort of indication whithin the next week or so.
So why should or shouldn't I move to your area?
It would be handy if your argument/reson includes important things like nearby decent biking routes, how good the local totty is and what the actual area is like.
For the sake of this thread I will put personal reasons for each place aside i.e. family and friends.
Muchos Gracias

Shottingham for me represents all the worse points of London, all magnified. I only ever go there for gigs at Rock City and to be honest with you, I feel safer coming home drunk as a mule from central london than I am coming home from Nottingham to Loughborough (same distance of about 15 miles). But if you overlook Nottingham itself, the surrounding area is wicked.
Oh yeah, loads of gash and clunge in Notts. Male to female ratio is approximately 2:1 or 1:1 in some instances, which is why lads from Lufbra uni go over there for some poon tang.
East midlands has a mecca of astonishing biking roads which aren't policed; so there are LOADS of local haunts where we just set time trials on .
6 Hills is only down the road and it's a good bike meet.
Donnington is around the corner, so are mallory and rockingham.
But if you're more of a rural lad and value your peace, Kent is lush. ____________________ The Tot 2019 Z1000SX - 2007 R1

Mate of mine at uni (Nottingham) came from Tumbridge Wells, he only went home for a couple of weeks over the summer and tried to stay in Notts as much as possible
Can say anything personally about TW, but I spent 5 years in Nottingham as a student and then working and really liked it ____________________ Say, do you have any Gatorade? I'm afraid I left all my electrolytes with your daughter.

Whenever I've visited my dad in Tun Wells on a weekend evening it's been jammed full of crumpet. Can't see a better reason than that ____________________ a.k.a 'Geri'

I live a few miles from Tunbridge Wells.
Nightlife wise, don't get excited. There are two clubs, if you can call them both that. One is tiny and awful, if it's stil going. The other is still quite small, and OK.
Lots of pubs and some bars.
A large amount of poon of various ages, you shouldn't struggle too much there.
Still takes a while into London on the train - 45mins+ off the top of my head.
Lots of shops in the shopping centre and surrounding bit.
Riding wise, the A264 between T. Wells and East Grinstead is good fun, as is the road down towards the coast. Lots of fun little bits around there, although if you want to learn kentish backlane riding you'll have to get good at carrying speed around blind corners. Hurts when you fuck up.
Tonbridge is just down the road. It's nastier and cheaper than T. Wells, but should give you significantly cheaper rent or mortgage for the same quality and a short commute. Sevenoaks is in between them, it's a dull expensive town full of cunts. |

I live in Essex at the moment, on the outskirts of london, my nearest town is Romford which has a pretty decent night life
The plan untill recently was to go to nottingham, i have friends in loughborough so that would be the social side sorted, obviously moving that far means i would loose contact with most of my friends in this area pretty quickly.
The Tunbridge wells shop is a recent plan but both stores will be opening around the same time which is why i have the choice, I will be involved in setting up the Tunbridge shop so i guess i will see what the area is like then although it will be a little late to choose by then, it is alot nearer to home but i dont know anybody really around that area and it is still 45 minutes from home.
Riding wise in the SE there is the winnahs and also three of my friends here look to be getting bikes in the near future. I dont know anybody who rides up north (with the exception of the_godfather off 'ere) Do BCF north have regular rides?
Im not too worried if the shop does go bust tbh, i know the company management well enough that they would find me a position else where
The third option is that i find something elsewhere nearby and stay here in romford

Lol - a commute from Romford - Tun Wells by bike is a piece of cake. Stay living where you are and ride to work ____________________ a.k.a 'Geri'
