I have met a girl, who i like, been out a few times (clubbing, ride, pub and more clubbing). Im 21, she is 18, and she seems to be rather held back, either that or she is not interested in me that way - i cant tell, she isnt like other girls or the girls that i have dated in the past anyway, so im having some trouble. My mate is telling me to be positive, where as i am getting the feeling she isnt too interested, she doesnt tend to show much physical signs toward me, doesnt tend to look at me alot, and when we are clubbing (after she has drunk a fair bit) she likes to chat to random guys, and last time seemed to enjoy dancing with my mate alot and kept looking for and at him. . . but then she does seem to like coming out just me and her. Reading over this i can see bit clearer the situation but i am still interested to see peoples opinions. I know there isnt much info, cant think of any more to add, i will answer any questions thrown at me.

I think she sees you as a mate and nothing more, if she were into you, she would be attentive and physical, she certainly wouldnt be going off to chat to other guys. That behaviour is inly usual if she is trying to make you jealous but I dont get that impression from your questions.

The annoying thing is i think scorps is right. How would i go about asking her outright without looking and sounding like a school kid....?
Im going to see if she wants go to the movies on monday. Hopefully she wont be busy, ill see if she wants to eat out too.

BUT, I'd, drop your interest in her, give her a little cold shoulder and get on with other things and other peoople. . If she doesnt come back to you with a 'I thought you liked me' then yes, the good BSF'rs are right. . .

If she does, then great, you can say, sorry, I didn't think you were interested. . . . she should learn a lesson from that
