Just bought the bike today 2nd hand and the key has stuck in the ignition - if anyone has any ideas on what i should do next i would be grateful...

Is the whole thing jammed or did it snap off?

If the latter, get strong tweezer type things to pry it out, or if that doesn't get it, use a strong thin sheet of metal with superglue on the one side (make sure you don't let the glue get on the barrel), slide it in, then pull out.

EDIT: I used the above on a key fragment stuck in a petrol cap lock, not ignition barrel. Think it'll be the same though.

Thanks for the reply - i have a TW125 - typo error,

I have managed to get the key out of the ignition but it wont start now - its just had a new ignition switch and a starter motor - its enough to make a man spit
