I watched that and was quite impressed until I was blown away with the multiplug idea.
[comedy accent=Borat]Very nice![/comedy accent]

Excellent idea.
Assuming it's at a decent price-point* I'd buy several of those tomorrow!
There's also the issue about wiring it. I can see it'd be ok pre-molded onto a lead but as a replacement to wire up yourself?
However, buying as a part replacement lead shouldn't be a problem assuming all the different types of power connector (kettle, figure 8, Mickey Mouse/Cloverleaf - C1, C5, C13 etc.) can be made available.
* normal plugs are about 30p individually or 10p in bulk. ____________________ ...and the whirlwind is in the thorn trees, it's hard for thee to kick against the pricks...

Can't see it being particularly useful for anything more than portable devices, but the multiadapter idea is even more genius than the plug! ____________________

Very clever design indeed..... Just a small point though, but I have to make it, as I'm British. I like the robustness and weight of UK plugs when compared to others from around the globe. You always know when a UK plug is properly in the socket. And it feels like it's going to stay there, unlike yank crap.

I was going to do my usual bitter trick of slagging things off but instead I watched the video...

Brilliant idea especially the multitap. Saves using the shoebox style ones.
But British plugs...What's so good about them. Robust my ass, it's a plug. You plug in your DVD you don't hang off a cliff with it!
"European" plugs FTW. The only thing better about UK plugs is if a burglar comes in you can probably kill him with it! But then again you'd probably prefer to go for the kitchen knife |
