any ideas on recovering your miss sold ppi???help

hi i received a phone call this eve from a guy who works for www.sevenclaims.co.uk. he told me that i can recover back any ppi on credit cards etc etc.He also said that they may be able to cancel credit card debts due to a few things.Some of the reasons he gave were you must apply for credit in person?,your signature must be signed with a witness,who can work for said company,if your balance was increased without your agreement.they want 199quid upfront??now we get to it.they claim this is fully refundable if they cant get you any money back.it normally takes 14days to asses your credit situtation.also he says they dont take the back three digits on your card so you can cancel the agreement?he says they are registered with the minesrty of justice there ref can be cheaked at https://www.claimsregulation.gov.uk/search.aspx with ref of cam11995




ANY IDEAS ON THIS IS IT JUST ANOTHER WELL ORGANISED SCAM or is there sense in it?????

been looking around on net and there are some who do no win no fee!i am not expecting debt to be cleared but a few hundred quid would be nice!as for my credit history its ruined anyway! Will doing this make it even worse?i am slightly worried as i need to get morgage soon again!

I tried making a claim myself for PPI on a loan with a big bank although they refused to refund the sum of about £120 and that I was welcome to refer it to the Financial Ombudsman if I was unhappy with their response.

I think it was more a case of scaremongering as they seemed perfectly happy to take the case higher and they would stand their ground. What some people may not know is that every case submitted to the Ombudsman, a review fee of around £400 is charged to the company you are accusing.

So basically, even if you dont get a refund (after several months of reveiwing your case), you can fuck them over with a £400 charge for submitting the case to the Ombudsman.

Or if your lucky, to prevent being charged several hundred quid, they will just send you a cheque.
