is it wrong?

Just remembering back to Heath Ledgers death and how HMV.co.uk and Play.com had their entire main page devoted to items relating to him.

And now the story is repeating with MJ...

I guess people will naturally want to buy MJ stuff now but it still feels wrong and it's obvious they just want some quick easy sales out of it.

Any thoughts my BCF brethren?

Well, yesterday I found myself listening to Off the wall, Thriller and Bad because I had heard about Michael Jackson's death. I wasn't sad about it, but I was nostalgic about the music I used to listen to when I was a kid.

I don't think it is 'cashing in on death' per se, it is more like promoting the items which have had a large jump in sales. The papers are talking about having three Michael Jackson albums in the top three positions of the top twenty by next week...

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

Many great artists (Van Gough for isntance) made shit all when they were alive.

Has and will happen for the eternity of humans.

Edit: I'm not implying Michael Jackson was a great artist, however good he was being a dirty paedophile nutjob ruined any respect I may of ahd for him.

Never mind the store's making money on it.....

How come MJ has sold more copies on the day after his death, than the rest of artists put together..

Seems like all the Have 2 Haves are buying up his stuff, just so they can tell eveyone else how they have all his records......

Sad gits......
