Anybody know what the deal is with the top quote?

TPO insurance but with cover on other bikes?

What cc is your bike? Some company's give you cover on other bikes as standered if the bike is over 350cc I think.

500cc

Would it be cover up to 500cc or on anybike or done by insurance group or something?

Im guessing my best bet is just to call them but it's a sunday so they wont be open.

It could be a glitch in the system with the interaction between whichever comparison site you are using and the Bikesure site. Maybe when you click on Bikesure and get transferred onto their system where you will have to go through the quote again before you can buy it, it could 'correct' itself and all will become clear.

Other than that, maybe Bikesure offer that on all their policies? Confused

The same company quotes me on my 125, TPFT as 'able to ride other bikes'.

Subject to T&Cs of course, which I'm sure excludes me somewhere but I couldn't find their T&Cs about it anywhere.

You would be able to ride any bike that you dont own it and i think someone else has to have insurance on it.

If i was you ring them up first thing tomorrow and double check.

Two of my friends took out insurance on there bikes both 400's and they where covered to ride other bikes and it didn't come up on the quotes saying it would. But when they read the insurance papers it said they did, and their both with two different insurance company's.

I don't understand why the question? It's all policy dependant, sometime you just have to be a certain age to have that section of policy applied to yourself. I've had TPO/TPFT policies since I started riding at 17, and I've always had ride other bikes.

Same as "If you have fully comp insurance, you can drive other cars/bikes" is a complete myth, it's policy dependant again.

Yup, that's what it says. Presume if you click the buy button you'll be able to view the complete terms and conditions for that policy.

Tesco compare site, it's not normaly the cheapest to be honest, but it gives a decent idea.

From there i would ring the top few and see what kind of quote they give on the phone Thumbs Up

Just got a quote, at the top it says something along the lines of "We won't be beaten, guaranteed, phone us if someone beats us" phoned them up and they said "We don't guarantee to beat anyone".

My insurance company have been bombarding me with fone calls and 3 identical letters saying my insurance is about to run out, 450 quid and they wont be beaten on bikes *

cant find anywhere what the * refers to. :p

I wont be taking them up on that offer because 'no claims bonus must be accrued before the renewal date'...um ok
