i have just found out that the left hand side (front headlight) was looking abit dim, i had a look and found out that the plastic seal in of which the bulb etc twists into had broken off, so now the bulb and the wires are just hanging there. i looked at the other one (the high beam light) and it has rubber seal and then the plastic bit that the bulb twists into, and noticed that that left hand side one didnt even have the rubber seal, is that normal and that the plastic bit has just snapped, is that the only problem?
i have found out too that i cant just simply get the plastic bulb holder i believe its called (which clips onto the metal tubing where the bulb would sit in) and that i would have to buy a whole new front headlight set!!!
does anyone know were i could get one from?is there meant to be rubber seal on the left hand side too?
does anyone have one?
i shall also post a picture aswel later to show what i mean if what i wrote doesnt quite make sense.
i am left without riding it for now, well especially at night and in need of help anyone
please help, many thanks
andy

here are the pics, one with the bulb with the rubber seals and then the plastic round bit were the bulb screws into
on the 1st pic it shows the the metal tube that the platic bit clips onto ( a metal piece above and below the the tube) and the rubber seal around

ont the second picture it show the right hand side were it has the ribber seal and the plastic bit as you can see how the bulb twists into it

i did find all the parts of the other plastic rind that broke off and glued it together (with aluminium tape around the outside of it)
and found out it didnt fit, then i found out thast the two metal bits either side of the metal tube were the lightbulb hangs in were bent in a little so thats why it might have snapped off....sooo i have tempereally sorted it, but it wont last long Sad

hope this makes more sense Smile
