I am now just 56 days short of my restriction ending and in light of this i have a few questions:
Do I have to send my licence off to get the restriction stuff removed (wouldnt want to get pulled over on a full powered bike and have it bite me in the ass)?
I currently ride an SV650 and was wondering what the difference in performance will be like?
I ask as I have been considering a new bike but A: have not found anything that tickles my fancy, although i'm open to suggestions Very Happy and B: figured if the difference was that big regarding restricted vs unrestricted i may be about to get the "new bike" experience from my current pride and joy all over again.
Cheers for any thoughts and advice.

No you don't have to send your license off(I still have my original one and my restriction expired over a year ago) and it'll have double the power when you hammer it, but not hugely different if you're sensible.

Take it steady and don't push too hard too soon.

On a ZXR4 I'd do it myself.

56 days.. that's nothing.. I still have 21... months! Laughing

Don't bother with changing the licence especially now when people's entitlements misteriously disappear and DVLA may not send you any licence back once you send yours to them Thumbs Down

Oh you gonna love derestricted bike Cool
