You don't paint bulbs...

You have a choice, buy a normal clear bulb, or buy an orange bulb if it's an indicator, or a red bulb if it's for your rear lights.

Use clear bulbs with indicators and rear lights if the lenses are coloured.

Would have thought a bulb would be too hot to paint. My bad.

Does your speedo light up white as standard, or some other colour than what you want?

My 125s speedo lit up yellow, and the 600's is green, however both use clear bulbs, an it's the backing part of the speedo that changes the colour. Dunno if this applies to yours.

One problem with painting bulbs is it shortens the life as heat is reflected back inside.

An option other than painting them is to put some coloured film in front of them so that filters the light.

Just get some fluorescent nail varnish like I did, got some funny looks when buying it but it past the MOT.

It's far easier (and probaly cheaper) to replace speedo bulbs with LED's that have the correct fitment.
