Just tried on these leathers in the biggest size they got...........jesus what i struggle to get these things on and off, they feel really tight but the guy in the shop said that that would mean the perfect fit. He said they will loosen up in time and will be alot easier to get on and off as i had to get help from the guy to do this!!!

Other peeps who have one piece leathers- was this the case for you?Thanks

Not one piece, but HG two piece with zip. They're easing up after about a year now. But they're not leather all over, they have stretch panels under the arms too...

In all honesty, I bought a set of leathers which I would say are a bit small for me. They loosened up a little, but not loads.

FWIW, you should be able to get in and out of them by yourself, and fairly easily. If it is a real struggle they're too small IMO.

yep sure am lol 6ft 6 stocky build. They are like a second skin on and once there on they do feel ok obviouslt really tight. BUt as said he told me they would loosen up and be easier to get on and off on my own.

Other option being the same suit but in 2 piece!!

id say the only part thats going to give a decent stretch is the perforated sections.

they will ease up and soften abit. if you buy leather dubbin and just rub loads in it will make it more supple and easier to get on.

ive got a cheap spada sniper 1 piece thats probably 2 years old and now it feels like kangaroo leather.

the legs will probably always be abit tight because thats how most 1 pieces are made.

I would be looking at getting some made to measure, you're gonna struggle to get some nicely fitting ones if you're that big.

You will probably be surprised at how cheap they can be - £400 will probably not be too far off. Plus they will fit perfectly.

The guy at HG is clearly gonna say they will get better - otherwise you won't buy them!!

i dont mind the legs being tight its just getting the damn thing on and off!!! lol. If i can be sure that it aint going to be a struggle everytime then i`d be happy with them.

I quite like the idea of the 1 piece as they feel nice on and think that they would be better to ride in. I have 2 piece at the min but they are bit dated and just want an upgrade!!

if you were sitting down it may make it easier to get on, i put my legs in the suit, pull it up high and sit on the end of the bed, then i have more room to put my arms in it.

wasnt really an option for you though because you were in a shop haha. you could go back and try getting it on sat down...

yeah, dont give up and go straight for the 2 piece though, there will always be another place with a nice suit thats a perfect fit.

plus 1 pieces look and feel better.

Leathers are like teenage girls, the tighter the better.

They soon give in especially if they get a bit damp - applies to both of the above.

One piece are cool, but then so are many two pieces. Obviously a 2 piece is a lot more practical for the road but if you only ride to ride fast (ie not commuting etc) then a one piece is a good option - also for trackdays etc.
But remember to follow the golden rule:

If when naked and looking down, you cant see your own cock - then you would be wise to avoid the one piece. (or risk looking like a fat man in a babygrow)

If the fit is spot on when it's on I'd say it's probably the way to go, pulling gear on when your hot and sweaty is tricky regardless, the last thing you want to do is sacrifice fit and protection to make the thing easier to get on.

I must say though, AStars leathers strike me as being made for beanpoles (hence they fit me perfectly ), it's probably worth having a try of some of the other leathers too.
