I heard that a bike/biker got flattened by a Skyline understeering round the Ebbsfleet roundabout last night. Anyone know anything about it? ____________________ a.k.a 'Geri'

I got a phonecall about it whilst I was at work, my mates and I know the guy in it, twat.
Got a nice dent in the Skyline rear quarter, hope the bike is ok and at least he managed to dodge out the way. |

I was only there Wednesday n some idiot in a BMW thought he could drift....he could but almost lost it a couple times, so I moved my bike.
Don't mind going there when people are KD but drifting....na, because of the above with the skyline. ____________________ Rides: Honda XR 125 ('03) Honda CBR 600F ('91), Ducati 916 Biposto ('95) |

Well, that turned out quite amusing! Skyline dude posted on the forum, despite claims that no-one from that site would ever be seen dead drifting a roundabout (i have over 3000 posts on that site and was even an Area rep at one point so know what goes on!)
Apparently there was only light contact causing minimal damage to car and bike (apparently he is a biker too) and it was a well known and busy place for people to be showing off their cars/bikes/drifting/wheelies etc and his opinion was that the biker was not there on his way up the route so he shouldn't have been stopped there on the way back down it!
Anyway, the poor lad can't afford track/drift days - despite owning an R34GTR -so it was not really his fault.
Also after this confession the thread turned into a chat between him and one of his mates about where he should go to make some good money out of street racing and betting on the result (but he should watch out for sleepers) seem to recall Nottingham was good - at which point the thread was deleted
Anyway, to finish i would like to say that i havent seen the video and i do not know the driver or the biker or the circumstances and yes i have enjoyed sliding the arse end of a Skyline round many a roundabout - in the dead of night or by accident - and i also enjoy going quite quickly places on my bike - again, when circumstances allow so i am not biased in any way ____________________ Harold_Shand wrote: I suppose it's like anything, you get your fingers burned when you start out, you learn from it and eventually become a complete arsehole about the whole thing. |

Well I think he's full of it - the place was crammed with bikes and cars. To quote the guy who told me about it 'There were so many motors there I had trouble parking up', and if there was such light contact how come I saw blue lights flashing at the spot a half hour later on my way to work?
Either way that has to be the most pathetic excuse 'he wasn't there when I went past the first time'. It's a public road - does he think he's the only one using it? ____________________ a.k.a 'Geri'

& in related news: I totally stuffed a Skyline on a SoCal canyon road this morning. He was last seen, about 150ft behind me, going straight on at a 90deg left hander in a cloud of dust |

R32, lets hope this one doesnt gwt deleted ay!
hi all im the skyline driver, and bike rider, but lets get a few things said shall we
yeah i was drifting but the rider stopped on a roundabout, how many of you would park on a roundabout, regardless to if there was drifting on that roundabout or not, cause in my eyes you deserve to get hit by a old man just driving at 5MPH for being so stupid! being a rider i know i wouldnt stop anywhere that makes me more likely to be invovled in an accident more than i alread am!
R32 he wasnt my mate, he just randomly commented on the tread, as if id go to a city where the sell more guns than sweets, got a feeling i wouldnt be driving outta there, more being driven out in a hurst lol
graham i notcied you called me a twat yet didnt say anythin to me at brands,
i dont want this tread to be deleted but if you have anything to say then feel free, in my opiniuon if the rider wasnt there, there wouldnt have been an accident, and in the riders point of view, i wasnt drifting there wouldnt have been one either! BUT we all go down there to look at what people can do, i was drifting around roundabouts and others were driving fast, if you didnt want to see it you wouldnt go there, so when it goes wrong cause of either miss judgement by myself or the rider, dont C**T me off for it.
if you didnt wanna see it you wouldnt go down there would you, you'd go blackheath t hut or to a pub car park.
also R32 i pay alot of money for my car and for a long time, so just cause i own it doesnt mean i have a lot of money, just love my car and like driving it the way it can be drivin, as you say you done it in the 32, but when trackdays do come up close or reasonablew cheap which they seldom do, ill always go, hence why i was at lydden (where the above pic was taken) and at brands yesterday! |

You hit a stationary object but its still not your fault? can't quite get my head around that one!
What would your excuse be if it was an unsuspecting family car that had broken down on that roundabout? grow up and stop trying to defend yourself! |

So you're trying to justify splatting a bike whilst illegally drifting around a roundabout on a night you KNOW it's going to be heavily populated by saying it shouldn't be there?
Let me give you some advice Stevie Sux - if you can't keep it under control go and find a roundabout where there's NOBODY else there to cause harm to rather than showing off what you can't do on a busy night ____________________ a.k.a 'Geri'
