Couldn't decide to put in here or in random but anyway...
Does anybody know if these people still cut spare motorbike keys?

FWIW you can try them but they aren't cheap.
Went in for some spare house and garage keys and found they'd cost me an arm and a leg.
Funnily enough I also asked the same day in Meadowhall shopping centre (Sheffield) and that'd only cost me an arm or a leg (i.e. cheaper than my local high street shop but still expensive). So even the prices aren't consistent.
Went to an independent shop (same setup, cobbler, keys, bags, etc.) and they were reasonably priced.
Beats me how the local Timpson's shop has managed to stay in business.

Timpsons work more like a franchise, the workers can pretty much set thier own prices, they are given a rough monthly target to achieve and the rest is down to them.
It appears alot of people don't know it but Timpsons are very into giving people a second chance, they will take in alot of ex-cons and school dropouts etc...
We use them at work when we need new keys cut or engraving done for these two reasons

Timpsons cut me a new bike key a fortnight ago. It was a blank key I bought myself though, doubt they'd have an Aprilia RSV key in stock |

I had two keys done by them a few year ago, cost me 8 quid or something IIRC. ____________________ My Flickr |

Thank you for this post
It has reminded me that as I had just one key with my XLR200, I should get another cut just in case. Have just put a float keyring on the one I have, as I have such faith in my offroad skillz!
I will head for my local key cutter though, as I think the nearest Timpson is Bournemouth town centre. ____________________ 'The core of a man's spirit comes from new experiences'
