Hi Guys!

Does anybody know the usual mileage when wheel bearings go on NSRs?

My bike has done 10000 miles, and is 8-9 years old was wondering if these should be changed before they ruin the bearing housing? Smile

Hi

Bearings normally last well, and tend to get killed by water getting in there (made worse by using a preasure washer). You would need to be very unlucky to wreck the wheel where the bearing sits, and just as likely to do that damage replacing the bearings. Leave them alone until you either feel play or they cease to be smooth
