Just looking at hotels for one night to do this gig in London. Is £90 for a double room about right?
The gig is in Shoreditch.

Cheers

yeah, but i have to add that it's £30 cheaper per night if you stay a little further out, say in barking.

:edit: actually, how many of you are there? I'm not too far from there, and I could put one or two people up for the night.

Yeah seems about right, ive just paid £80 for a double in a little b&b at earls court.

Gets a little bit cheaper if you rough it out in say Islington for instance.

If it's in Shoreditch - the holiday inn by the fire station on Old Street is probably your best bet. There's the Hoxton and the City Plaza as well, but they'll be a lot more than £80.

I've stayed in there it was fucking shit.

Work put me up there, the room had no soap/shower gel you had to the buy that yourself. The resuarant was shit and the staff unhelpful and the bed wasn't comfortable.

Actually It wasn't that one it was the Travellodge on city road. Avoid that one. Laughing

LOL! Exactly why I didn't recommend it. The Holiday Inn isn't exactly a palace but then, it's fairly cheap and convenient for where the gig is.

I had to book a room in London a few days before I stayed.
Got a double room in the Metropole hotel for £55 and it was top notch! Midday kickout which was even better Thumbs Up

I have a gig at Greenwich on 24th July, but it ends at 7am, so I should be okay to drive back! Smile
