Universal Baffles/ db killers ????

Can anyone recommend me a universal Baffle / db killer ?

I just want one to pop in for when I go to work early, don't wanna keep wakin the missis and me little 'un at 5am with the sound of me stubby'd viper !

Wanted to ask here to see if they actually work ? or if someone has got one they can recommend.

My advice - don't bother. I bought one of those universal viper jobbies off ebay to quieten down my Akrapovic race can for when I went to the Nurburgring last year. I had to mod it to make it fit but I don't really think it made much if any difference to the level of sound at all.

If you really want to quieten your bike down, change the can is my best advice, don't waste your time/money on a baffle. Thumbs Up

I bought one of these. Took the edge off the mad dog exhaust note of my GSXR quite nicely. Good enough to make it waltz through the MOT and not deafen me at 80 - 90 mph on the motorway.

Bought from him before because the wifes Akra can had an unstandard 47mm outlet instead of the normal 52mm. He custom made one to fit and it worked perfectly. Noise tested at a trackday @ 98db too but with no noticeable change in the power.

I just bought a Bike-it one off eBay incase I fail the test at Cadwell.
I'll let you know how it works!

I used one before on my SRAD, it was basically just an angled metal tube, don't think it even had any holes on it. I booted it into the end can and it brought noise down by about 8db. Got me through the noisetest.
