When buying your firestorm, did you become hugely suspect of the way in which the Frames VIN plate had been punched?
My first firestorm I bought off eBay and used for a few months. When I delivered it off to the new owner, his eyes widened at the shabbily punched VIN plate. Thankfully, an hpi check showed it to be clear.
However, I'm now selling my second firestorm and the way in which it has been punched in is dire. It looks terribly suspect with scratch marks all over the plate by the last 6 digits. The prospective buyer did an HPI check on it and it said something about finance owing and wanted to the full VIN Number. This I gave him and carried out my 2nd hpi check on it, just to be sure.
It comes back clear albeit the HPI register only recognises the last 6 numbers. Bit strange I thought......?
