If you look really closely you'll see an entire "bikes for sale" sub forum, set up specifically so that this one doesn't fill up with adverts or empty posts containing ebay links. Whilst it's understandable that you want this to be seen by as many people as possible most of us don't give a flying fuck that it's for sale, whereas someone browsing the "bikes for sale" section is almost certainly going to be looking for some form of powered two wheeled transportation.

I think I'll decline in buying a crashed and bodge repaired (note the fairing sprayed by someone with a job lot of green that "almost" matched the standard paint) 18 year old 400, never mind a ZXR and all the fail that they bring.

PROTIP - My 1992 GSXR 750 which has never been written off or badly resprayed cost me just over a thousand quid with a year's ticket. You'd have to be a complete autistic retard or 400 fanboy to give £1300 for said ZXR.

Fair comment. It is a bit of a slow news day after all. I just get vaguely irritated with - yet more - proof that there are people out there using a PC to communicate with the wider world that are inherently incapable of reading a simple block of text and associating the words "For sale" with the idea that they want to sell something, they simply click the button and put it wherever the mouse first falls with no forethought as to audience or as to whether it makes them look like any task beyond chewing gum and breathing is an Olympian achievement.

Maybe he feels the surcharge is warranted by the added effort of removing the new "shorty" brake and clutch levers? Although why the bloody hell you'd mention them if they're being taken off is a bit beyond me. "Yeah, it's got these really cool new toys on it, but I'm keeping those unless you pay me more". Way to make a great impression on prospective buyers. In truth it's a reasonably well crafted example of an Ebay advert. No real chavspeak, relatively restrained colours and a distinct lack of "teh cheepezt!!11one!1".

Well £1300 isn't cheap, you can get a ZXR750L3 for about that or less but then 400's have always been a bit of rip-off money-wise.. people will pay it though.
