Read the T&C's in your policy wording. Basically, it depends on whether you're subject to short period cancellation rates - if that's the case, then 4 months in could = 75% of the premium for example.
However, under FSA ICOB rules you should be able to argue that short period cancellation rates are unreasonable, given the circumstances, and therefore they should just charge you a reasonable adiminstration fee for cancellation and give you the balance of a pro-rata refund
