Why have you had so many bikes in less than a year?

I had one moped that lasted me 3 years from 16 till i took my test; what are you doing to all these 50cc's!?!

A gilera DNA is not the greatest of peds to show on a bike forum where the minimum 'respect' engine is 400cc'ish lol Very Happy especially based on its looks (trying a bit hard)

but im sure for a 16 year old they are cool.

hell, even i remember a stage of wanting one.

and now i have a hornet 600.

puberty = it works.

FAIL

Lots of cool bikes with engine under 400cc which earn maximum 'respect'! But yeah Ped's are shit but everyone has to start somewhere..

Laughing My favourite bikes on the want list are either 250s or 400s. Don't know why, just seems that the charm of a small bike outweighs the POWAH of the larger ones.
I'm sure I'm not the only one. People only mock 50's and 125's if they are: A)Common B)Chinese C)Automatics.
For example, how awesome were Keith's 50cc mini GSXR type things?
And the 2-stroke fiends will jizz everywhere at the sight of a FS1E.

From then on, I and the bicycle feelings deeper.

Only messing around mate, just don't forget some of the coolest (in my opinion) bikes out there are under 400cc.

RS 250, RD 350, NSR 250, RG 250, RGV 250.

yeah they have the 'cool' factor to us bikers, but most other normal everyday people that pretend to be petrolheads just ignore anything under 400cc as slow.

not that anyone on here would of course

Laughing

ok, well the r1 is alright but the plate ruins it in my opinion. exhaust a bit huge too Very Happy

to be honest i dont like sports bikes that much, obviously yeah the engines are a lot quicker but i prefer the understated, subtle approach.

my hornet is just plain black and always makes people say 'wow' without having a need to show that i can zoom about on a race rep bike.

but obviously its up to you so if you want an r6 once you pass your test go for it Very Happy love to see insurance prices for that lol

I know some one who had a restricted R6 and it sucked, he sold it after 3 months. It's all top end and you can't get there in the middle of town.

His insurance was £800 for a 2001 R6, he had a years no claims on bikes though.

I never did like the DNA, Looks like a toy.

Tom I want that 'push bike' Smile.
