I'm after a cheap but halfway decent pair of summer gloves, nothing fancy, and just black, ideally. My current ones are a bit big and hot. I would have bought some before now, but I didn't expect the decent weather to continue...

As it's difficult to surf online places while I'm at work, I wondered if anyone can point me toward any decent glove deals going on at the moment..?

Looking to spend around £20-£30.

Cheers! Thumbs Up

You will be wanting some of these.

I have had a pair for 2 years, have worn them tons and tons, crashed in them twice, still perfectly servicable, no problems with stitching coming away etc.

They are comfy, have good feel and generally great value at £20.

I'm after the same thing now the velcro has torn off my current summer gloves! Rolling Eyes

I like the look of these and not a bad price either, however my only concern is the 'water resistant' bit - I'd much rather a waterproof pair for those downpours that always catch you out! Thumbs Up

these are good quality as well. Steel looks quite weird but sometimes it is good to show off something rare.

They are in no way waterproof. A quick 5 min shower is ok, but I don't think they have any real waterproofing. Mine got absolutely soaking, enough that I could ring them out and get a good stream of water, in a 15 minute ride in fairly heavy rain.

To be honest you'll be hard pressed to find summer gloves that are waterproof. Most winter gloves will only cope with a light shower.

been wearing the 2nd pair since Aug 2006 and they are fine, been caught out in rain without issue, don't suffer from the heat in them and i know the protection level is ok only recently has the colour started to fail Sad

Do a search for Koord gloves.

Very nice soft leather with protection, approx £20 withdelivery.... They are waterproof. I even use them at cooler times with no problems.

Just watch out for black gloves, as black absorbs heat....

They may absorb the heat, but they're also a lot cooler Wink

A true summer glove in my opinion should be fully vented along
the lining of all fingers, (lots and lots of tiny holes).this stops you sweating. As soon as your at speed you can feel the air on your fingers.

I think your looking too cheap though.

A reasonable pair I would expect £50-£60
