Cheers for the advice Rob
That the gearing sorted for now. I got two new sprockets this morning, a 16 and a 17 tooth. They both fit on but the chain is too tight to run the 17, it'll maybe be ok once the inital stretch has slackened it off a bit. For now the 16 tooth is at least slightly better than the 15, giving me about 5mph more top speed on the flat and has let the revs fall ever so slightly at lower speeds. I might order up a 43 for the rear at some stage but for now i need to concentrate on the suspension. |

One source of info would be DMC (Dunfermline Motor Cycles). Those guys know more about ZXR400 than anyone else in the Country, haveing worked on so many via Knockhill  ____________________ Fallen Angel "Nae sniffing my seat now!!!!! "
