I was skeptical about this film when I heard about it, but after seeing it about six months ago I was converted.

It may just be the drama teacher in me talking, but I really got caught up in the guys sheer bloodyminded determination to throw his 'airfix' type machine down the salt flats. I thought the depiction of extreme speed on what was basically a home made bike absolutely nailbiting. Here was a man who didn't really give a shit what anyone else thought, and was determined to achieve his dream - then came back and did it year after year - at his age!

A lesson to us all I think, makes me feel like a boring twat in comparison.

Very Happy
