I'm after a undersuits for my 1 piece...it's very tight, and almost impossible to get off when I've sweated in it...

I'm after one of the undersuits that supposedly keep you cool in the heat and warmer in the cold...

Cheapest one I've found is £40....surely they can be got cheaper than that? Is there any of the same product, just not renamed and marked
up for the motorcycle market?

Thanks in advance!

Also, who has one and how is it?

Aldi were doing some thermal trousers (tights) which are pretty good, fair enough you look like Robin Hood 'man in tights' before you get geared up and going for a wizz can be entertaining but they were cheap, about £6. As for the top half I have a cold killers thermal top which was quite pricey but is great in the winter but a Tshirt normally does the job in summer.

ive got a cheap set of 2 piece thermals from aldi which are good
a 2 piece Helly Hansen Dry. - Very Good.
a 2 piece cold killers suit - EXCELLENT!!
and a nike pro long sleeve sports vest - Great for hot days.

they are all good. if not they have the 1 piece versions in hein gericke.

i recently bought some from heine gerike, but i bought the two piece EDZ ones £50 in total.

dont know why i never got any sooner, i wear them every time i go on the bike now, the leathers feel so much more comfortable with them on, and go on and off much easier too.

you can prob get them cheaper elsewhere without the EDZ label...

mike

Thumbs Up

Coolmax is the stuff that's cool and wicking - I've had socks and t-shirts with it in before.

Doubt you'll get a whole undersuit for less that £40, it is fairly pricey stuff.

Maybe just get a coolmax t-shirt and underpants/boxers? (yes you can get them!)

The sort they do for ski-ing are pretty good at wicking sweat away from you. Try one of those discount ski warehouse places.

They absorb sweat and pull it to the surface where it evaporates.

Laughing Laughing Laughing

Those magic suits you can't beat'em.

My Spyke 1 peace is bloody brilliant! Lots of little vents mean it's actually cooler then shorts and t-shirt as the leather keeps the heat off and the vents let the cool air in!! It cost £279 and is as good as fit as my Alpinestars and better for hot weather riding!!!

Even Hein Gericke's stuff is stupidly expensive - mine came to £36. That said, any underlayer sort of kit used by athletes will suffice. Helly hansen stuff comes recommended. If you got sports soccer or sports world, just get some base layers and they do the same stuff.
