Went out on my new toy today, it being a 06 aprilia factory. all i can say is wow what a machine. it's my first v-twin and im smitten. still gonna take a bit of getting used to but im sure i will in due course. it's a lot of bike for the cash. so all im hoping for now is a decent summer (fingers crossed) instead of the usual constant rain.

Confused

Pretty much every main stream manufacturer makes their own ones; thankfully as even in a Buell guise the Harley ones aren't that impressive. (XR750 running nitro-methanol excepted.)

Harley engines are typically american affairs - large-bore, low-efficiency, over-complicated. I once made the mistake of trying to fix an 1800cc side-valve thing and I had to give up.

If I was going to have a twin it would prolly have to be a firestorm just for the pure grin factor.

Good bikes the RSVR's, they are more of a handful to ride quick than any of todays user friendly IL4 1000s.

deffinatly get it on the track, its where they belong, all that track trick suspention comes alive.

Mine on the Nurburgring last year, it was a brand new 08 reg at the time.

Hi Forum Members,

Greetings! I have bought a new Yamaha R1 bike. I yet remember the first ride of mine in the night. The climate was so chill and I was riding on my new bike. I almost reached the speed upto 140 Kmp. I was good experaince. The bike is so stylish with it looks that you will not be willing to get out of your bike.

What part do you sit inside then? The petrol tank?

Makes me laugh but is true with some bikes you feel like your riding the bike like sitting ontop of it, and some bikes you feel like your part of it because of position etc.
