32 years after parting with his BSA Super Rocket, a motorcycle fan bought it back - for 100 times more than he sold it for.
John Biggs, of Bristol, sold the 650cc bike for £28 when he and his wife Chrisy got married in 1967 to raise money for a deposit on their home.
John, who is 59, saw his 1959 machine again at a vintage motorcycle club outing and asked the owner for first refusal if he decided to sell the bike.
He had to wait another year for the bike's owner Paul Withers to decide to sell. John said: "I sold it for £28 but when I bought it back you could add two noughts to that. It was £2,800 because it was in very good condition."
Strange things happen
Anyone ever had a bike they'd buy back? |

A Honda CLR 125. I actually brought it back twice after selling it. She is not tucked safely away in my back garden never to be sold again. |
