Any idea if the 'How to fully de-restrict a 1993-2001 Honda NSR125R UK spec' guide https://www.nsr125.com/derestrict.htm is any different for a 2002 Honda NSR125RR? Twisted Evil

The CDI unit isn't restricted is it?

Is there any way to put the restrictor back in the exhaust (god forbid) and use the bike, would it tack-weld back on with a mig welder?

Hi,

The de-restriction guild is exactly the same for your nsr, only european module have the cdi unit rev ristrictor.

As for welding the exhaust ristrictor again...this is possible, but a little pointless. If you want to restrict it again simply put the carb plate back in, this will have the same effect as before Wink

regards

His is the European model if its an RR!

I think the exhaust restrictor is lower in the exhaust as well.
