Suzuki gsf 600 03 plate

Christs that was a good one.....drove down to HG then
onto Glasgow to 1 other shop and when i got there went
to switch it off and the key was missing i was like
WTF.
The key and the spare can start the engine and the key
could be removed with the ignition running and the key
in the start position.
I have a spare and 1 spare alarm fob but would feel safer
with 2 keys and fobs where can i get a fob and a key
and the worst part........how much.
Man i'm pissed it could have came off on the motorway
or a few streets i drove down to get to my destination
thought about looking for it but needle in a haystack
is a good description.

NOW i cant get the other fob to work and thats after a
5 mile drive in the car for new batteries the ignition comes
on but it wont start with the fob not taking the alarm off
anyone any ideas how i can make it road worthy by disable
the alarm
Its a meta M357 Alarm
thanks

The alarm wires will be tagged into the starter circuit as its basically an electronic switch to stop the bike starting

Pull the alarm fuse first

You may have to hunt around & trace the wires a little but a favorite way of doing it is to tag into the solenoid command wire (under the left hand sidepanel on your bike i think) remove the alarm wires & splice the stock ones back together then the bike should start Very Happy

If that works on the rest of the alarm wiring is for flashy lights/ indicators & noise making, you should be able to now bin this lot easily enough, or you could temporarily disconnect it all if you intend trying to get the alarm working again

Hope that helps

Should always PM answers of this nature as it's an instruction on how to nick someone's bike. Even as the OP sounds legit others that read the post may not be. Wink

I had a alarm on my bike that was factory fitted, the bike needed stripping down to get it out, it was like having a second wire loom within the bike. Took the workshop about 3 hours to take it out.

Cut the wires in the solenoid but where would the fuse
be ? would that be in the norm fuse box at the back ?

Tried taking them out one at a time but it would not
start or is the fuse added somewhere else.

Thanks

Mark

Fuse should be hanging around under the seat near to the battery if its not a factory fitted alarm (trace the live back & you should find the fuse

Note i said cut the ALARM wires & rejoin the stock solenoid one so that you isolate the alarm, if you are not sure leave well alone Thumbs Up

Note to finglonga.... its only an instruction on how to start this particular bike mate, any thief would need a way of getting the seat off, a set of cutters soldering iron & a couple of hours just to remove the alarm completely then he's still got to deal with the steering lock, ignition & any chain plus this is all info you can find in 10 mins on the net so i feel ok with trying to help out but do see your point Thumbs Up
