This evening on my way home, I am filtering up to a roundabout (Chiswick roundabout to be precise) where there are traffic lights. As I pull up to the line a guy in a Nissan, chucks his cigarette out and it lands on my seat between my legs. He gives me a look of, unlucky mate, no apology, or a oops....or sort of smirk.

So I pick it up, and not wanting to be a litter lout, threw it back from whence it came! I caught the first glimpses of horror go across his face as the lights change, and as I reached the next set of lights on the roundabout heard in the distance the constant beeping of horns, as I imagine he frantically tried to dig the stub out from the passenger foot compartment and the traffic behind him became increasingly impatient at his failure to pull away from the lights.

Oh, the joys of motorcycling Laughing

I really hate people who lob their fags out of the open car window. Thats what an ashtray is for.

I would have pulled in front of him and given him hell. Evil or Very Mad

Well done! Thumbs Up

As an (ex!) smoker I know how unpleasant it is to drop a lit cigarette onto your car seat and scramble around trying to save yourself from being on fire, or attempt to lob it out of the window and throw it onto your back seat instead Embarassed

Serves him right....dirty habit Wink

Crying or Very sad Embarassed

I hold my head in shame! Surely it's better than a current smoker though? (Anyone that thinks they saw me smoking at Dean and Chez's - you were drunk!! Besides, that was last week and I've given up now!!)

/me points anyone who wishes to quit but has either failed or just never found the right moment to attempt it here;

Arrow https://www.allencarrseasyway.com/

I know this may seem like spam of sorts but I feel it important to get out in the open since I smoked for over 10 years and had forgotten what it was like to be a non-smoker. Now 17 weeks later the only time I ever have any trouble is when I'm blind drunk (but I imagine thats purely psychological).
I'm sure they would stock his book at your local library for anyone who would be interested save forking out cash for it, after all I lent it off my sister for free. Very Happy

I'll be quite now! Karma
