33bhp trackday???

hiya,im 17 and have just passed the new bike test.i have a gsxr 600 srad with my dad(insurance sky high lol) and was just wondering the rules on trackdays, i heard that some tracks wont allow a 33bhp bike? snetterton is my local one which is the track i was hoping to start on and get used to the whole trackday thing and also what they bike can do. any ideas? im new to this by the way so any feedback would be great, cheers charlie

Hi

Motorsport Vision (MSV, owners of Brands Hatch, Snetterton, Oulton and Cadwell) won't allow you on with a 25kW licence I am afraid.

Not sure about the others. Think with most it depends on the track day organiser.

Focused events won't let you out on a 33bhp license. However Hottrax and No Limits will, so you can ride at Silverstone, Rockingham, Mallory (I think), and Pembrey on one.

I expect Rockingham, Silverstone or Mallory are going to be your next nearest tracks.

Mallory is fine, just to reassure.

NoLimits tend to try and look after there younger riders and definately the best of the three IMHO.

should be a great race, last race at donington aswell so should be a good one.
