999R, Future classic??

Seen some of these going for under 8.5K. Sounds like a lot of money for a 4-5 year old bike, but if it's got FSH, then thats a lot of bike for the money. I think the fact they were only produced for a few years (3??) and had very contriversial styling then they may start to increase in value within the next 5 years.
Considering that the 996/998R's are like rocking horse shit and go for stupid money think this might be a good investment.
The looks of the 999 are growing on me, all I need to do is convince the wife Neutral

Yes it will go up in value........depends on future trends as to whether the shape comes back in fashion.(Personally I love the shape). It'll still go up though.

That is a damn good looking bike, wish I could afford a spare to just take out in the sun and something like that would be great. Couldn' t just store it as a future classic though.

Looks like too much fun riding it!
